Z.A. Ranch was founded in 2021 by Gina and Mike Alder on 40 acres in Covington, Louisiana—just a short drive from where Mike grew up in Folsom. Mike’s late father, lovingly known as PapaCha, was a well-known preacher, teacher, and friend in the community. With deep family roots and lasting memories in the area, Gina and Mike wanted a place to call home whenever they returned from Los Angeles.

What started as a personal retreat quickly became something more. With a catfish pond, tree-lined entry, and a forest next door, it felt like the perfect spot to gather, host, and slow down. Whether it’s sharing Southern meals, playing pickleball, or dancing under the stars, the ranch reflects everything they love.

Each visit brings new ideas—adding charm, comfort, and ways to share the space with others. Today, Z.A. Ranch is a welcoming venue for family, friends, and guests to enjoy.

Come stay a while.
